As part of its Inner City Action Plan, the City of Hobart rejuvenated one of its principal retail spaces, Liverpool Street in the CBD. Anchored by the new Myer Store and associated major hotel, the City produced a basic masterplan for the redesign of the streetscape placing more emphasis on the pedestrian experience. 

In order to demonstrate and explain the Cities proposal, nbd-space was commissioned to produce an animation to bring the draft plan to life. The short film formed the principal face of the proposal and was widely shown across the Council’s public buildings and on its web site. 

All modeling, production and animation was undertaken in house by nbd-space.

Works based on the approved Masterplan were completed in 2015.
